THE FOMA OPERATIONAL TEAM
Anaru brings years of experience to the role of Chief Operations Officer through various senior roles for Māori within government, iwi and community organisations. Anaru has been involved in the Māori Agribusiness sector at many levels- from the design and implemention of strategy and framework, to the operations and delivery of various successful projects. Anaru is currently Chairman of Pipitea Marae Charitable Trust, Trustee on Wairapapa Moana Trust, and Vice – President of Ngati Poneke Maori Association.
After a stint living and working abroad in London, Mary has returned and settled back into her hometown of Wellington. Mary has extensive and practical experience in Facilities and Office Management working in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom. In her role overseas Mary was involved in coordinating projects and provided facilities management services across a complex multi-site organisation. As the CA Mary’s role involves managing and facilitating the efficient functioning of the FOMA Offices as well as providing support to the Acting Chief Operations Officer.
Dr William McMillan – Kaiarahi Ahuwhenua – Mixed Livestock / Dairy
William has an extensive background in research and development, coupled with an MBA and commercial experience in the animal industries (dairy, beef, sheep, goat, & deer). As well as his owning his own Consultancy firm, William has held many senior positions including National Manager Artificial Breeding, Livestock Improvement Corporation and Corporate Manager Science and Technology, AgResearch.
