Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Raukawa. Anne Carter has been a Director of the Wairarapa Moana Incorporation since October 2014. Wairarapa Moana Incorporation represent 3,500 Māori owners of 11,000 hectares of Dairy, Forestry, and property holdings at Mangakino in the South Waikato. The Incorporation’s assets are valued at over $272 million. Wairarapa Moana Incorporation is a founding member of Miraka. Established in 2010, Miraka is the first Māori owned dairy processing company in New Zealand. She is currently also a member of the Governing Council of Te Wānanga o Raukawa, Chair of the Voice Arts Trust, and a member of the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand.
